Meet Jack

Jack was diagnosed at birth. He has RAPSN Congenital Myasthenia Syndrome, joint contractures, swallowing dysfunction and chronic respiratory failure. Jack was in the NICU for a few months after birth and the PICU multiple times after that for respiratory infections. He has received physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy, and is now able to walk with a walker. He is responding well to treatment, however his Congenital Myasthenia Syndrome will be lifelong. Jack is a friendly and happy seven year old that loves to sing. His parents go above and beyond when caring for him and are very involved and encouraged by every hurdle Jack overcomes. His nurse mentioned that “Jack has done better than ever thought possible. He is a true miracle!”
